It is a simple thing to announce, we are finally getting married after over 8 years going through thick and thin together.
The Beginning:
Everything started in 2002, Roberto and me being very active in Zurich's nightlife. Him deejaying and me partyjumping and making my first experiences working behind bars.
Sometime in autumn/winter 2002 a Straight Ahead Party has been organized in the Rote Fabrik, where I and Regina (our maid of honour) have been engaged working at the bar and wearing Lia-ne clothings. This was also the night I first catched a glimpse at Eliane (Roberto's siter and holder and founder of Lia-ne) and Matthew (our best man). I still remember Eliane wearing a cool T-shirt, which I admired very much.
I still remember the evening of the fitting of the Lia-ne clothings. When I entered the Straight Ahead office at Anwandstrasse, first thing that jumped on me was Django, Roberto's beautiful brown labrador dog. This was already a good beginning, as I do love animals, especially beautiful brown labrador dogs.
The Engagement:
One and a half years ago Roberto and I went to Lucerne to listen to Eryka Badu, who was giving a concert. During this evening I observed Roberto drinking quite a lot of red wine and being kind of nervous about something.
When we were passing by the Kappeler bridge something came up into my mind and I blurted out the following words: "Why don't we get married." What I didn't know was that Roberto was already trying to ask this question all night long and I spoiled his proposal.
However, the proposal did take place at the famous Kappeler bridge and we gave eachother our committment.
Now, on May 29th 2010 we will get married and we will be celebrating this day with our closest family and friends. We are very happy.
we are very happy... :)
